Ray’s Auto Body was founded by Ray Ellis, a lifelong resident of Ogden, Utah, with a passion for cars and a commitment to helping his community. Ray grew up in a small house on the corner of 700 S and 1900 W, where he began offering collision repair services out of a modest garage his father built. That same garage, once a humble beginning, is now the detail bay of our expanded shop, which proudly stands on the very same corner.
Ray’s love for automotive craftsmanship has been passed down through generations. Today, his son Gary co-owns the shop, bringing decades of expertise and certifications from I-CAR and PPG Paint. Gary’s son, Dixon, is following in the family’s footsteps, learning the ins and outs of the business. Ray’s daughter, Jackie, manages the office and keeps operations running smoothly. Over the years, many of Ray’s grandchildren have also worked at the shop, gaining valuable skills and learning the importance of hard work.
